Stoke Newington Chambers is the brainchild of Kristin Heimark, LLB (SOAS), LLM (LSE), a qualified solicitor and barrister. An Associate Lecturer with the Open University since 2003, she has mentored hundreds of students and helped them achieve the qualifications they deserve. She was motivated to set up this law tutoring enterprise after many students asked her for private law tuition.

A former US Navy Quartermaster, Kristin also knows from first hand what it is like for external students to undertake an English university law course — and succeed. External students’ LLB pass rates tend to be lower than home students’, often because they don’t have experience of the English education system. Tutoring can help them redress the balance.

Kristin is now based in the former north London borough of Stoke Newington but, thanks to the web, you can now benefit from Stoke Newington Chambers’ online law tutoring services from anywhere in the world.
